The biggest and unbelievable demolition of the most controversial and unauthorised known as ‘China Building’ at Heera bhai compound was carried out on Tuesday by Assistant Engineer Satish Malekar from ‘E’ ward. China Building which was built on open plot illegally without any official permission, the building was Ground +6 Storey and 72 tenants were illegally occupied on all those floor, 12 flats were built on each every floor, this demolition was carried out after High court passed the order against this illegal building.
 

 
‘Hello Mumbai’ exclusively covered the live demolition action of Bmc officers. The man behind this action was only one known as a Demolition Man Mr Satish Malekar who followed this case very seriously in the court.
 

 
Speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai’ he said, “This building was constructed by Haneef foolwala in 2013, he didn’t get any permission and violated all rules and regulations, he illegally constructed this building on plot, when we send him the notice he did not took it seriously and moved to the court, 4 times the court passed the order against him, he also got support from the tenants and made them party but could not get relief, and Mumbai High court passed the order for demolition, said Satish Malekar.
 

 

 
Satish Malekar is always in the news for his demolition action against the unauthorised construction previously he demolished 7 storey building at Teli Mohalla near JJ Junction, and Mercury Tower at Duncan road, Nagpada, but it was very horrible and dangerous experience for him, he said, when I came with my staff tenants started to oppose us women tried to burn themselves, people threatened us but without fear we have started our work and carried out our action.
 

 
The team from ‘E’ ward building and factory Junior Engineer Subodh Barmude, Kodgaonkar, Mukadam suryakant Teli and other staff of the Building and factory played very important and active role in this demolition operation. Byculla police staff also handled the law and order situation very well under the supervision of Avinash Tukaram Shingte senior police inspector of the police station.
