In the midst of surge in this pandemic crisis, Hello Mumbai News correspondent Janvi S Panjwani tried to to find out the ground reality report of Mumbai’s different wards.
Speaking to Hello Mumbai News team, Jagdish Makuri a Shiv Sena corporator from Ward no. 185 converses for the update of the existing situation of the pandemic in his ward.
Mr.Jagdish Makuri while elaborating on the current situation in his ward mentioned that,” The active corona cases status is fine at our ward, there are only 2 hospitals at our ward and some people are admitted in it.”
He further added that,”There is no shortage of oxygen and beds in Dharavi.”
We are taking medical camps at our ward conveyed ,Mr Jagdish.
He further mentioned that, “First people used to be scared during the first lockdown but today no one is scared from it , it all depends on immunity”.
While demanding from Central Government Mr Jagdish conveyed that, “I demand the electricity bills should be forgiven and rations kits should be given in free”.
He further conveyed that,”Me and my team help someone by giving them Rations to the poor people, also we distributed mask and sanitizers to the people”.
When asked about what difference is between the 2020 pandemic and today’s second wave pandemic he conveyed that, “Last year in 2020 the corona was spreading rapidly in Dharavi ,there was nervousness in the minds of the people , but by god’s grace everyone recovered very fast.”
While appealing the the people Mr.Jagdish said that,” Wear Mask and maintain Social distancing and you all will never face covid, and mostly cancer patients, dialysis patients, etc are easily affected.”
