BMC issues notice to Kangana Ranaut for ‘illegal’ construction at her Bandra Bungalow
Mumbai: BMC officials from H-West Ward, following their visit to the Bandra Bungalow of actress Kangana Ranaut who has converted it into an office found an illegal extension in her office. They wanted to hand o et the notice personally to her but she is in Himachal Pradesh and us visiting Mumbai tomorrow 9th September.
The Notice issued under 354(A) MMC Act, has been pasted outside her office.
However, a team from the Building Proposal Dept of BMC has inspected the premises to check the deviations from approved plans. According to the authorities, Kangana’s office is listed as a residential property in their records.
The BMC has given the actress 24-hrs time to file a reply with documentary evidence for the illegal constructions.
Asst. Municipal Commissioner H-West Ward, Vinayak Vispute, has recorded that her failure to file a reply within 24-hrs they will be left with no option, but will initiate action of demolition of illegal extensions.
