Mumbai: BMC takes 14 years to remove encroachments in lane adjacent to Rajasthani Masjid, Daulat Nagar

Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) finally after 14 years, has taken the remedial action in removing encroachments in lane adjacent to Rajasthani Masjid, Daulat Nagar.

The encroachers were served with a notice by BMC a month ago to prove their ownership of the area occupied by them. However when none respond, BMC took the remedial action.

The area was proving a nuisance. The tax payers as well as law abiding residents were being harrassed due to the same. Outsiders were creating a lot of nuisance in the area.

Hopefully the area will now be encroachment free. It is up to the Santacruz Police Station to ensure of no further encroachment.
