Muslim Community to celebrate Eid-e-Milad with procession at Khilafat House in Byculla on Sunday :
on the auspicious occasion of Eid–e-Milad which falls on Sunday 10 November, Muslims worldwide will be celebrating this most auspicious festival with great reverence to pay homage to Prophet Muhammed. As for the Muslim Community this festival showers happiness among them. On this eve, Shiv Vahtuk Sena Leader Sajid K.Supariwala has demanded for free parking for carrying out the juloos(procession) in trucks by the organizers in South Mumbai particularly in A,B,C D and E ward of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) mostly dominated by the Muslim Community.
Speaking to “Hello Mumbai News” Sajid K. Supariwala made it known that Eid-e-Milad is one of our biggest festival. According to Islamic Calendar, in the month of Rabi Ul Awal on 12, our Prophet Muhammed came to the World. So on this day, we Muslims celebrate the birth anniversary of our Prophet Muhammed. Every year at the historical Khilafat in Byculla, procession begins and thousands of people gather here. Parking poses a big problem on this day. Hence I have requested Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar and our Byculla MLA Smt.Yamini Jadhav to provide free parking facilities to those who will be participating in the Eid-e-Milad juloos(procession).
He further added “I have gave a written application to Mumbai Traffic Police to consider my request.
