Mumbai : Mira Bhayandar Corporator Shanu Gohil says “Coronavirus’s treatment is in our homes, stronger is our immune system, lesser is the chances of getting infected”.

Speaking to Hello Mumbai News reporter Ayushi Kedia, Shanu Gohil says since the last 73 days she is supplying grocery to poor and needy people in enough quantity to sustain for at least 15 days. In this way they don’t have to come out for food. In order to do this she suggests everyone to donate uncooked food always as there is two reason behind it. Firstly the people will not move out of their houses unnecessarily and can eat whenever they want to. Perhaps they may feel insecure before consuming the cooked whether it is fresh or not.

Shanu has also checked the chimneys in crematoriums in Mira Bhayandar.
She further specified that the government is doing everything round the clock since day one when WHO declared it as a pandemic.

Several celebrities too stood up to raise funds for supporting poor people. Every NGO is working for the needy people day in and day out.
Therefore the reason for the migrant workers to leave the city was fear and panic. Regardless of bothering for any facilities or demands from the government, the fear forced them to return to their native villages. They became so scared that they started searching several modes and ways to go. In the end, they took to the roads and highways to reach their destination. No sooner the Transportation facility came into operation, she helped a lot of people by providingthem private buses with the help of collector and also provided medical passes to every passengers who travelled through Shramik train

However if things weren’t enough, a major problem emerged from the societies. That if any member gets affected by the pandemic, the other families get panic and they start getting traumatized. Convincing them becomes tough as everyday 5-10 cases are being reported. To handle issues related with medical, any basic needs or with any such infected people, she has made WhatsApp group of each area to let people contact easily.

At the end she wants to tell everyone that treatment is in our homes only, the stronger is our immune system lesser is the chances of getting infected.

So stay home, eat healthy. This is the proper treatment until vaccines doesn’t come.
