Speaking to Nitin, she says that she believes the unlock-1 of the lockdown was a combined decision and has been implemented by taking into consideration all the necessary points. But ironically, despite the lockdown the number of cases in the state is surging. While there has been more cases off late, unlock of the lockdown has not brought any big difference in the surge of Corona Positive
patients in the state.
“We cannot keep the whole country closed for such a long period of time” says Jaya singh.
to all the migrant workers who have left the state out of fear will have to return as even they have to earn for their living which is only possible when they come back to their respective workplaces.
Even though the state governments are trying to provide all the necessary means for the workers who have currently returned there its only a matter of time when they have to rush back to Mumbai when the financial crisis arise.
She also believes that many people are already on their jobs, Companies have started functioning but with only a certain percentage of staff. People have stated working as it was the need of the hour and to put economy back on track and the country back to normalcy.
She has also been running medical camps where she examines the oxygen level as well as body temperature of the people in her ward and patients with high fever or cough or any symptoms of corona virus are immediately sent to the hospital.
She has also been providing medicines such as vitamins C , Homeopathic as well as sanitizers and masks at her medical camps also she distributes them door to door in the slums.
