Mumbai: At a time when the human race is facing an immense crisis there can be only one true response: *The expression of humanity itself*.

This is a moment for all to come together in a collective effort to make each stronger and brave to face the days ahead.

Yogita Sunil opined that Mumbaikars are not following the lockdown norms properly and that’s precisely the reason for the spike in covid cases day by day. It’s our prime duty to support the Mumbai Police and Government agencies to follow-up the lockdown norms.

Speaking to Hello Mumbai News over phone about her work during the lockdown period in her ward she said , ” daily we are into the distribution of food kits , essential commodities among the poor and needy people. We are also distributing food packet sent by BMC are properly distributing all food packets among them . In our ward we have minority population. With the ongoing holy month of Ramzan Muslims observe fast during Iftaar we are providing them with iftaar packets comprising Kajur(dates) and fruits. We take care of all communities in our ward.

A part from this, we are helping all migrant people in preparing the documents like police form, medical certificate etc.
Our Food distribution daily is for 700, to 800 to people.
Ration distribution to 5, 500 people. We have distributed Mask and carried out sanitisation in all buildings and societies .

We purchase vegetables directly from the farmers and sell it at a low cost for our local people. Vegetables are expensive but we have tied-up with some local farmers who are sending us vegetables at reasonable rates which people are buying

Now the time has come to create awareness on the lockdown as this is the only option which can save us from becoming victims of Coronavirus.
