Mumbai: Sudha Singh, BMC Councillor, Ward No.67, distributes Homeopathy medicines to people in slums amid lockdown and Covid-19 crises

News report by Ayushi kedia:
Mumbai: With the Coronavirus spreading massively and with Mumbai been heavily affected and turned hotspot, people locked in slums are finding it difficult to even get medicines.

In such an alarming situation in the slums, Sudha Singh, Councillor, Ward No.67 has taken to the slums to distribute Homeopathy Medicines.

Hello Mumbai News Team took the opportunity to talk to Councillor Sudha Singh over the phone for her activities amid the lockdown

During the course of the conversation, she said, amid the complete lockdown period, she has been distributing homeopathic medicine called ARS ARB 30 in all the slums. It helps in improving immune system and builds antibodies. She has distributed thrice grocery kits and food amongst the needy people.

In addition to this BMC team have also facilitated her team with a kitchen to provide more food to be made available to the poor people since a month. She also made it known that almost every migrant has left to their native villages. She has helped a lot in doing registration with the help of police.

According to her opinion, there is lack of government support to the poor and migrants otherwise they could have stayed here and post lockdown people will be afraid in returning back to Mumbai.

In construction sectors, big industrialists are facing lot of scarcity of laborers because of their sudden return to their native place.
She further said that government declared they will distribute free grocery kits in May but failed to do it. Hospitals and BMC are not cooperating in such grave situations. Hospital like Cooper is not admitting these poor laborers and doctors too are not getting any support from government for PPE kits, testing kits. NGOs are now providing PPE Kits.

Over and above, school administrations are demanding for school fee amid the crisis, which should be stopped. For 3-4 months all electricity bills, taxes, school and college fees should be waived.

Lastly she says we will have to fight and to stay with the virus until vaccines arrive.

At the suggestion by Ayush Ministry and now permitted by BMC, she is inton distribution of the homeopathy medicine Arsenic Album.30 to boost immunity & fight the virus. She thanked Honorable MLA Ameet Satamji for this.
