Mumbai: Mumbai Borivli’s Mitratav SRA building gets new residential electric metre after 11 years wait, due to great efforts put in by Shiv Sainik Corporator Geeta Sanjay Singhan
Mumbai: After a long 11 year wait, the residents of Mitrtav SRA building located in Devi Pada Borivali East,heaved a sigh of big relief as a good news came forth to them when their society got a new electric metre connection. The credit indubitably goes to the great efforts of local Shiv Sena Municipal Councillor Geeta Sanjay Singhan, Ward No 12, who duly inaugurated the meter connection on Tuesday.
Speaking to Hello Mumbai News on the occasion, Geeta said, ” ever since the building was constructed and tenents took posession, they were receiving inflated commercial metre charges by Adani Electricity, although all of them were tenents.
She went on to say that “we took up this issue seriously and started working hard. On Tuesday, our efforts bore fruit and a positive result emerged. I feel extremely happy that their burden has eased. Moreover we received good cooperation and support from these people. And we got it done for them.
My husband and Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Singhan supported me a lot in this matter. I believe in the motto of our Shiv Sena ideology of 70 % social work and 30% politics.
Overall, my entire Shiv Sainiks and other leaders supported in this matter.
Mr.Sanjay Singhan, said, This society builder Amog Enterprises, never bothered to install didnt a new electric station even though the tenants have been paying the commercial charges four times the amount right from the beginning till date.
We worked hard on this issue for four to five months Mr. Gupta, one of the representatives from society guided me and helped us technically and today proudly the Society has got a new electric meter connection.
I express my sincere gratitude to all my team for their selfless support towards us.
Mr.Gupta also thanked the Municipal Councillor, Geeta Sanjay Singhna for accomplishing the difficult mission which was pending for the last 11 years. Geeta has however, lived up to her promise, concluded Gupta.
