(Prabhag no 2) Manohar Dumbre says “unlock of lockdown is premature, alarming rise in the infection”

Mumbai: There is an alarming shortage of hospital beds amid record infections in a day coupled with a record number of coronavirus infections in a single day. The country’s fragile health infrastructure faces a major crisis due to lack of hospital beds.

To get to know the facts straight Hello Mumbai News Team chanced to speak to Manohar Dumbre, BJP Corporator of Prabhag no -2 Thane district over the phone.

Speaking to Hello Mumbai News Team, Dumbre affirmed that he has been working form dsy one of the imposition of the Covid-19 induced lockdown. Till now he is working for people in Thane district.

Dumbre further claimed that he has distributed ration kits and has also opened a kitchen for the supply of food to everyone in his area. He has been distributing ration to those who don’t have ration card and to the people who fall in below poverty line. He has also distributed more than 2000 food packets to the senior citizens and to the bachelors as well and ensured that no one sleeps empty stomach.

Further, the unlock phase 1 in Mumbai has not gone down well with Manohar as he says the opening of lockdown has not been a proper decision. Most of the hospitals lack on adequate number of beds and the state government is not even providing the proper quarantine centres for corona patients. The opening of lockdown has been done too early.

He added, the government should have waited for the right time. he This is not the right time for unlocking as Maharashtra is not prepared for it at all.

Moreover, several people in Mumbai are suffering to a great extent due to shortage of beds. Over and above, Mumbai doesn’t have adequate provision for corona patients.

He asks why government is trying to play with people’s life. On the contrary, this is the time to coordinate with all the leaders and officers.

Meanwhile, he appeals to the government to understand the situation and work together.
This is the only solution to fight Covid-19 faster.
