India’s deadly Covid-19 second wave has devastated Mumbai’s financial hub and
other cities of Maharashtra.
Amidst the upsurge in cases in Maharashtra, Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Janvi S.Panjwani ropes in Mr. Raju Pednekar, Shiv Sena Corporator, Ward No.62 for an update on the existing pandemic situation in his Ward.

Hello Mumbai News Correspondent over phone Mr. Raju Pednekar, Shiv Sena Corporator, Ward No 62, said, “At my Ward the status is under control, but some quantum of patients are also coming from slum areas and there are patients who’s reports are coming positive but it’s under control by god’s grace”.
He further went on to add that “there is shortage of Remdisvir injection but with the help of Shri Aditya Thackeray, we are helping the patients to get Remdesivir injection. Nevertheless, we are distributing masks and sanitizers to the people”.
Apart from the aforesaid activity, he said,” We had held blood donation camps also in which 118 people participated and donated their blood”.
“I have been transmitting precautionary messages to the people and specially at my ward. I help people by giving them vaccine and in total 1,000 people have been vaccinated in my ward “.
When quizzed on his demands to the State Government, Mr Raju Pednekar said, “We had demanded vaccine centers to start in our ward in the Mahanagar- Palika. I have also assisted people by taking them to private hospitals for vaccines free of cost, We are at our best in giving free vaccines to the people”.
His another demand to the Central Government is Remdesivir vaccines should to the state’s”.
He further asserted that in the meeting of every Minister of States with our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our respected Maha CM Shri Uddhav Thackeray ji demanded oxygen from our neighbouring countries”.
Mr. Raju also affirmed that” Today other countries like America, London, Saudi Arabia, Germany,etc our helping India with supply of oxygen, and this idea was given by our Chief Minister Shri Uddhav Thackeray ji and today everybody are implementing it “.
He showered praises on Uddhav Thackeray ji for the appropriate measures he is taking to control the pandemic in Maharashtra and in Mumbai. Our entire Shiv-Sena is doing our best so that Maharashtra becomes Covid-19 Free.
He even went on to add that from 1st May, we will start vaccinating people in the age group from 18 to 45 and are doing our best to register everyone for vaccination”.
When broached on the difference between 2020 Covid and the 2nd wave, Mr Raju Pednekar clarified t “Last year in 2020 everything was manageable but today we had to suggest to open vaccination centers and we ourselves too are setting up Covid Centers at Lokhandwala Back Road so that 400-500 patients will be in this hospital if they are positive”.
He even demanded for a Jumbo Covid Center in Chitrakoot ground on Link Road in Andheri (West) and demanded oxygen and ICU beds facilities”.
