Mumbai: As the corona, cases have risen and conditions are getting on tough, Recently corona active cases were detected as 48484 and the numbers are fluctuating every day so to understand the prevailing situation, Hello Mumbai news reporter Radhika Joshi carried out an interview with Corporator Anil Patankar, Chembur ward no – 153 (Former Best Committee Chairman ).

He said In his ward, the covid affected are limited in proportion as distinguished to other neighborhoods and the patients who are seen are from buildings and not from slums. Further said” As soon as the oxygen was deficient at Shatabdi Hospital, I immediately visited and got the information. After contacting Mayor Kishori Tai Pednekar, Additional Commissioner Suresh Kakani discussed with him and shifted 44 patients elsewhere and appointed Shri Hirlekar, officer for oxygen supply.”

Aside from that on 30th March he wrote a letter to the Mayor and demanded that Municipal Corporation should start vaccination centers in 227 areas as per polio dose, and earlier they used to register people through the app so that every beneficiary gets the advantage of vaccination drive and now alike they are working on it and new vaccination center will start in his ward in few days.

Meanwhile, he is compelling everyone to obey all the means to protect themselves against this virus and bestowing his optimistic endeavor and asked for department wise spraying and also gave his representative to set up a covid center at Somaiya Maidan, as well as 175 bags of blood collected at the blood donation camp at Chembur Ghatlagaon, distributed masks and carried out all the essential chore for the betterment of the society. Alike, according to him, Mumbai Municipal corporation is providing their satisfactory duty.

On the one hand, the monsoon that comes while fighting with corona cannot be ignored. For the cleaning work of small and big drains in the division, he launched the work in his Ward, Branch chief Umesh Karkera, municipal officer, former branch chief Geeta Palva, Shiv Sena officials, and activists were present on the occasion.
