The world first went into a state of panic when we were initially struck like a lightning by Covid-19 last year.

But this 2nd Wave pandemic has emerged as the biggest we’ve seen in the last two centuries. This has left everyone not only in India but entire Universe worried, confused, and grieving at the loss of loved dear and near ones. Induced with fear, we have been unable to wrap our heads around the ongoing situation.

It is very easy to look for alternative opinions, sometimes even deny facts, or search hard for answers to explain how this catastrophe has taken so much away from our daily lives.

Until medical professionals were able to pinpoint how Covid could be curbed, there was a lot of misinformation brewing in different pockets across the globe. When we’re looking for information to come to rational conclusions in our heads, it’s quite natural for us to question the many parallel developments, or even try to find solutions, especially since we didn’t have answers.

Janvi catches up with Advocate Santosh Kharat, Ward No. 195 (Worli) on the existing scenario in his Ward.

While elaborating on the situation or on the environment in his Ward, Mr.Santosh Kharat affirmed that,”the active Covid-19 Update is very minute , the death rate too isn’t much. There are150 patients.

To battle the grim situation in the backdrop of this deadly virus made a Mr.Santosh Kharat made a demand to the State Government for Walk-In registration for senior citizens instead of online registration. Also inmates at the female Hostels and Old Age Home should be administered Free Vaccination.

Mr Santosh Kharat further added that ,”We have no shortage of Oxygen and ICU beds at our Wards and with the help of Shri Aditya Thackeray we are helping the Podar Hospital and Nehru Centre for the similar facility and many of the patients are relieved and happy.”

Apart from above, Mr Santosh Kharat made it known that “if someone needs help, I immediately call the ward control centre. Also, we are prepared for the monsoon by getting all the drainage system cleansed, including the stormwater line where floods come. Also sewage. For heavy rainfall, we have made the necessary arrangements to avoid l people from falling in the sewage.”
