As part of religious fervor Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and Yungdhara Vasti Sathar Sangh,
Celebrated Savitribai Phule Jayanti on 3rd January 2022 in Virar.

The celebration also saw the presence by Virar Social Organization Abaral Mitramandal and Bhaudeshiya Organization Bharat. Notably 100 E-Sharm (E-Labor) card and Universal Pass were distributed among the women.

The celebration was also attended by 200 women including many senior leaders of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi, Hitendra Thakur, Sakharam Mahadik and Ajit Naik, Seema Sudhir Kale and Sujata Mestri Deepali Kamat, President of Yungdhara Vasti Sathar Sangh, Sunita Gupte, Pallavi Solanki, Farzana Sheikh, Jasmine Sheikh, Harshla Madhavi, Karthika Gawli, Vanita Utekar, Rajesh Bakshi, Ravilal Sir, Ankita, Suman Tim. All the women of self help group too made their presence on the occasion

While speaking to Hello Mumbai News over phone Seema Kale said, “Our party believes in social service and the prime motive to organise this camp was to help and support the poor people. We organise this camp under the leadership of Pravina Thakur and many NGO’s help us. She further went on to explain that the benefits of the card will help to avail the government scheme benefit and to help empower women. This card will also be helpful on retirement.
