Mumbai: Sanjana Sharma, Banker turned-Painting-Artist stakes her secure Corporate Career to follow her Passion. In an interaction with
Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Neha Singh, she said “You cannot be bonded anywhere for a long period. You need to try to do every possible ways and means to follow your passion. Painting is my passion, that I wanted to do for my rest of my life. I want to push myself to be one of a top Painting Artist in the Industry”.
Many a times when life puts us in a situation to choose something over passion, many of us lose hopes and forget to follow our passion. However, it wasn’t the case with Sanjana Sharma. She never failed to follow her passion which paves the way to become an artist. It takes bold blood, grit and determination to actually do something about it.
Sanjana was very good at academics. She had worked as a Branch Manager with ICICI and has held varied positions in various companies. After her return from work at night and finishing all her household chores, she used to do painting till 2-3 am. She repeats this schedule the next day too. She is very much passionate on painting.
At the peak of her career, she took a call that she will pursue her career as a painting artist. She abandoned her secure Corporate Career to pursue her passion. She used her PF Amount for setting up her business. After 5-6 months of practicing art she got her first painting assignment. She is a self taught artist. That’s how her journey saw the light of day.
She floated her own Art Studio and is the proud owner of Painters Den. She runs the Studio very well. Under this umbrella, she personally interacts with all the clients. She personally looks into each order before it goes for despatch. Its been 10 years since that she is running her own Art Studio.
The secret of a successful business career is not to give up on hurdles. Sanjana had faced many difficulties but never gave up. Her hard work bore fruit. She shared one of her harrowing scenario that “giving up a successful career to follow your passion is not easy”. Because, you were used to living that lifestyle. And sometimes people saw paintings and said wish that anyone can gift those paintings. But they weren’t that every beautiful painting needs many sleepless nights.
She has been honoured with many Awards and recognitions for her work. Her awards comprises “Gold Medalist Artist of the year 2016” “National Women Excellence Award, Patiala March 2018”, “Rashtriya Gaurav Award by Anti Corruption Foundation May 2018” and many more.
Sanjana can influence every person who follow their passion and has accomplished his/her dreams.
