Dr.Monica Jagtap Mumbai Congress Executive Member Ward No.61 Comes forward to support pandemic affected people ,alleged PM Modi fails to control second wave of Covid 19

Dr. Monica Jagtap comes forward to support Covid 19 affected people.

India is witnessing the biggest and most challenging crisis in history of humanity with 2nd Wave Covid-19 pandemic and has placed our country to a grim situation.

Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Janvi S Panjwani speaks to Dr. Monica Jagtap a Mumbai Congress Executive Member of Ward No.61.

Conversing with Jhanvi, Dr.Monica Jagtap, said,” The active cases has improved now as everyday around 100-150 cases were coming , and the recovery rate has been on the better side and death rate has dipped.”

She further mentioned that,”If someone is in need of ICU Beds and ventilators it is not being provided. So, I personally requested the ward, but as yet still no response has came from their side. Hence there is a scarcity for ICU Beds.”

Replying to Jhanvi’s question about her demand from the State Government she said ,”By imposing the lockdown, the State Government has also announced a relief package for the auto drivers. So the Transport Minister said ,’we will provide a link for all the auto drivers in which they have to apply by producing their pan Card number and Bank account number and they will get 1500 immediately. However, today it’s more then a month, I have tweeted to the State Government for the relief packages to be given soon to them
Also, amid this lockdown people’s needs should be fulfilled. So I only demand from the state government that if they declare a package which shouldn’t be exposed to the media. But to really provide the relief to the people, and second demand is to make available ICU Beds for the people and even the Remdesivir vaccines too which is not available.
So those people in need of Remdesivir or any other Covid vaccine should be provided in time.”

Dr Monica Jagtap also made it known that the said “I am a Executive Member in Congress Covid task force inducted by Mumbai’s Congress. I and my team first arranged for Free Ambulance Services. If someone calls us, we provide them free ambulance service and secondly we had evem given a helpline number to everyone, like those tested Covid positive, we tell them to send their reports via whatsapp and then provide them with lunch, breakfast, and for any other requirement, we help them wholeheartedly, thirdly we are doing sanitization in every area and we distribute rations in Ward no.62 and in ward 61 .”

Dr.Monica further added ” I will not celebrate my Birthday on the coming 18th instead, will distribute food kits to 150 children in Anand Nagar.”

When quizzed about the difference between first corona wave and second wave she affirmed ,”In first wave we were all unaware of Corona,we were all not adequately prepared, so gradually it took time for everyone to know about what exactly is Covid. In first wave death rate was not more but today in this second wave due to the mutation the virus has become highly contagious. In first wave elderly people were affected but in second wave young people are affected and they are not getting proper medical help .”

She further said that,” As i am in Covid task force , I get calls everyday by saying we need beds, we need ventilators, etc. So this second wave is a disease in which if you are not getting treatment at proper time , then in one day your oxygen level decreases.”

She further alleged that,”The health infrastructure which should be improved during this 1 year are putting their attention in rallies.”

It’s a very worst situation in India and all the Bhakts are coming front and telling that BJP is a fail government, and people are aware of everything now, said Dr.Monica Jagtap.

Lastly she said,”Mumbai Congress Committee Sanjay Nirupam Sir, Bhai Jagtap and Charan ji helped so much to the needy people..We will all extend all possible help as much as we can to the people and in future also we will help everyone who are in need.”
