    In our Social Entrepreneur series today We are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Gujarat for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social  field particular in inner wheel club  who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship. yes we are talking about Ekta Samir Shah District President of inner wheel club of Bhavnagar, she shared her Service and Charity Project with Hello Mumbai Team

    Brief Introduction of IWC :

    International Inner Wheel  Club is an international women’s  Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members. IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.

    Project : Shaaksharta
    Under theme Sheroes
    S – spreading wings of innerwheel
    By printing logo of innerwheel on 5000 books .e – education
    Distributed books worth rs 40,000 to kids of slum areas,
    Rainbow foundation and vaterj school in bhavnagar.
    Amount – books worth rs 40,000/- was donated.
    Beneficiaries – foster care kids and underprivileged children.

    Date : 5th July 2021.
    Under theme sheroes
    S- Stree Shakti
    Awarded all the doctors of our club with certificate of
    Appreciation for their selfless service towards society in this
    Crucial times of pandemic.
    Amount : 21,00/-
    Beneficiaries: 5 – Doctors of iwc Bhavnagar.

    Project – 3
    Date : 16th july 2021.
    Theme e – earth care from sheroes.
    “ Mother Earth Calling “
    Go Green”
    As pandemic restricted us to meet physically, we decided to accomplish the tree plantatio project together, but individually. 46 members took part in this campaign to spread awareness of planting trees. As we all know that cyclone has caused a lot of destruction to the nature, many trees and plant were uprooted, so all the members of our club were asked to plant a tree or a plant near their surroundings or in their garden from where a plant or tree was uprooted, this way we can make the environment green again. “Green planet is a happy and clean planet”

    Date : 20/7/21
    Under theme sheroes
    O – for orphanage and old age care .
    Project : Elder care.
    Amount : Rs 51,000/-
    Groceries
    Table fan
    Fitness cycle
    Was given to om sai seva dhaam
    A home for senior citizens.
    Beneficiaries — elders of old age home .

    Date – 20th july 2021 .
    Under theme sheroes
    S : stree shakti
    Project Atmanirbhar
    3 – Sewing machines worth rs 21750/- were donated.
    2 – To deaf and dumb girls.
    1 – To ankur school for mentally challenged girls.
    Club will bear the expense of their sewing classes and make
    Sure that they get work through out.
    2 – Tricycle worth rs 11,550/- were donated to handicapped people.
    Total amount – 51,000/
    Beneficiaries : Specially abled girls.
