    Teachers are one of the most important pillars of society – They spend their entire lives helping students learn and discover. In addition, teachers also increase literacy rates in a country, facilitating job opportunities and jobs that help students secure their lives.

    From academic knowledge to moral knowledge, a teacher is a treasure trove. A teacher’s contribution to the world is invaluable as they educate the men and women of tomorrow.

    Almost every country in the world dedicates a day to teachers to celebrate and honor them.

    Teacher’s Day is celebrated annually on September 5 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice-President and the second President of India, who was also a teacher, scholar and philosopher. His contribution to shaping India’s education is immense.

    On this day in school students put up dance and singing performances, events and dramas for their teachers. They also greet their favourite teachers with rose bouquet, handmade cards and gifts as a token of appreciation.

    The Day is hailed as very significant, as students across all educational institutions express their gratitude and honour all their teachers and mentors.

    Teachers are recognised for their unspoken contribution to the development of society.
    Since beginning, teachers have emerged as stepping stones into the world of education, moral values and social stability.

    When students met Dr.  Radhakrishnan after he assumed office as President to celebrate September 5 as a special day, he instead asked them to observe this day as Teacher’s Day, in recognition of their contribution to society.

    Ever since then, Teacher’s Day has been celebrated across schools, colleges, universities and all educational institutions.

    The Day is hailed as very significant, as students across all educational institutions express their gratitude and honour all their teachers and mentors.

    Teachers are also recognised for their unspoken contribution to the development of society.

    Sharing her teaching profession with Hello Mumbai News on Teacher’s Day says she is M.A and teaches at DCMS School, Faridabad.

    While speaking to Hello Mumbai News on Teacher’s Day says she takes classes as a faculty in Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has also been appointed as a trainer by Central Board of Direct Taxes to impart training to TRPs (Tax Return Preparers).

    Mukta Nagpal:

    Mukta Nagpal while sharing her teaching profession with Hello Mumbai News says she is an educator and Headmistress at the Millennium School, Panipat. She has a teaching experience of 24 years. At Presently she is the Secretary of Innerwheel Club Panipat Midtown. She is very passionate about Education and upliftment of lifestyle for the less privileged.

    Monika Saluja:

    While interacting with Hello Mumbai News on the occasion of Teachers Day Monika Saluja says that by the grace of Almighty God, she is into the teaching profession. She also works as a Councellor, Nlp practitioner, Social Activist , Enterpreneur, Happiness coach. She is all the time living in learning zone. She says that she unloads the loads of thoughts and tonality and owe a debt of gratitude for being in this responsible community and on this powerful platform.

    Charanjeet Vaid:

    While conversing with Hello Mumbai News on Teacher’s Day says she was a Lecturer in Political Science in a govt sector but now she has retired after putting in 35 years of teaching. After retirement she opened a SHE COMPLEX FEMINISTA equipped with facilities of ladies Jim, steam bath and massage, parlour and boutique. She is associated with world’s renowned largest women Ngo INNER WHEEL, for last 24 years. For six times she has been President. Presently she is the Treasurer of the Club for the year from 2022…203I. She is ever ready to help the poor needy and the downtrodden. She is also maintaining her Farm House which which boasts of variety of fruits,vegetable ,plants and flowers. Charanjit is also a member of KADAM FOUNDATION AND NARI SHAKTI undertaking many social projects

    Jyotsna Garg:

    Jyotsna is a retired principal of a self made private school, served actively as principal for 20 years. She is also an active member of Nari Kalyaan Samiti working towards social causes and also a Member of Innerwheel Club. Her passion is Gardening and Painting.
