ACP Surekha Baburao Kapile :

Hello everyone,
Myself Surekha Baburao Kapile, B.Sc., L.L.B.,Joined Mumbai Force as A PSI, in June 1989.

I worked at Juhu, Crime Branch, Nirmalnagar, Mumbai Traffic as well as in New Mumbai Turbhe, Nerul etc various Police Stations.

As a ACP, I worked in Mumbai Railways and Bhandup Division.

Currently I am working as ACP at Marol LA IV.

What Inspired you to join Police Force?

I was basketball player and Athletic Champion in my college days.
In those days girls had a harrowing experience of harassment in marital problems.
I had an attraction for khaki uniform which a won with my potential.

A) Three encounters of Gawali gangsters in 1996
B) During Corona period, I was posted at Bandra Railway Division.I took this opportunity to help thousands of people with food, medicines, household items and many essential items living in those hard times.
C) I was London World Book of Records by a Pune based NGO.
D) I was awarded a Doctorate, by Assam Government.
E) Several rewards and appreciations were showered on me.
