Key Highlights of Shashikala Watve’s Entrepreneur Journey:
Hello, I wish Shashikala well. Founder of Ethnic Fashion. Over the next three years, I aim to enhance the beauty of ethnic sarees to at least 10,000 women and to spread the history, culture, art of traditional handloom sarees from different countries of our country, India and across the country and the world.
My eldest daughter was 10th in 2019 so I had to give her maximum time so I closed my chocolate business. My business networking settings were completely shut down. Spent a few months at home paying attention to the girl. But since I have a habit of doing something, I started thinking about what kind of business we can do at home, and then while watching a video on YouTube, I saw Misho’s ad and found out exactly what Misho is on my mobile. Then I realized that Misho is an app that you can make money by selling online from home. I was very happy at that time. By downloading the Misho app, I started my online selling business from scratch. There was a lot of excitement in the beginning. My excitement gradually turned into tension. Because clients were getting the wrong products. And the clients’ faith in me kept waning. I immediately decided to start my own online business by shutting down the Misho app. The first question was what to do. I was very fond of sarees and decided to start a saree business but where to get sarees from wholesale. As soon as I had a mobile phone in my hand, I searched on Google and found a new identity for sari.
The study of the history, art and culture of the sari in different states of our country started. This shows that our country, India, is indeed diverse. Here I saw a huge variety of sarees. I used to love sarees but as soon as I started studying sarees, I fell in love with sarees and if not in love, I have a lot of respect for this saree.
Now the question was what to name it ..? Many names were suggested to my new born business by the family and the name Ethnic Fashion became the favorite of all. At the end of December 2019, the wholesale rate brought sarees and I started this saree business on 1st January 2020 with great enthusiasm. Was and then all of a sudden people heard the news of Lockdown in March then all closed .. my business too .. but I did not give up. By attending online business meetings one-to-one meetings, I have consistently tried to reach out to people and keep in touch with them, and to inculcate my ethnic fashion in the minds of the people, and I am happy to say that I have been able to communicate ethnic fashion to the masses. Is.
My fourth competition for online ladies was Kovid Warrior Women. There was a prize of one hundred and one and there were 17 sponsors.
Now let’s learn the features of ethnic fashion. You can also get traditional handloom woven sarees from different states at very reasonable prices by giving gifts and offers. Patu Silk, Kanjivaram, Chanderi, Organja, Satin, Linen, Jamdani, Khadi and many more will be available for you.
