Entrepreneurs are those adventurous, daredevils who drive deep into the pressing problems of society and try to find solutions to them, not by leaving the responsibilities in the reins of the government or business, but by trying to change systems as whole and persuading societies to take new initiatives
In our Social Entrepreneur series today, We are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Rourkela for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social field particular in Inner wheel club who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship . Yes we are talking about Manjurani Meher President of Inner Wheel Club of Rourkela Midtown District 326, she shared her Service and Charity Project with Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Priyanka Yadav.
Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel :
International Inner Wheel is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members.IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.
Key Highlights of Service Projects :
Project 1 :
Felicitation of 11 Doctors on Doctor’s day.
Project 2 :
Blood donation camp was organized at Ahuti Bhawan 20 units of blood collected.
Project 3 :
Distributed chocolates at different unprivileged areas by members.
Beneficiary – 40 girls children.
Project 4 :
A mega plantation project was done with Rotary Club Rourkela Midtown at Bisra village
Project 5 :
On theme of Women’s Empowerment , our club supported marriage of an unprivileged girls naming ‘blessing’s ceremony’.
Project 6 :
A Second plantation project was done at Basanti Colony.
Project 7 :
Installation of office bearers in presence of Chief guest , members and guest of honor.
Project 8 :
A Wellness programme for ladies was organized to celebrate women’s hood through Yoga.
Project 9 :
To go green, members did ‘each one plant one’ for well being of the environment.
Project 10 :
On occasion of World Animal day , our club members feed animals at their own place nearby to make a good ecological balance of environment and the society.
