Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel :
International Inner Wheel Club is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members.IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.

I am very happy to accept a position of Charter president of INNER WHEEL CHANDA FORT ANGELS 2021-2022, I have been closely associated with the Inner wheel Club since my childhood and I always wanted to be part of this family. It has been just 7 months that we have started the club and till date we have completed 14 projects. Our projects are in line with our this year’s theme of PINK FIRST and our Association President Saroj Madam’s vision of SHEROS. I am happy to tell you all that our beloved Association President Saroj ji katiyar mentioned our project (Multi Diagnostic camp with Exhibition,) in her speech at the conference held at Jalgaon.
This year despite been a year of Pandemic our Club has grown and thrived through many difficulties caused due to COVID. We connected through virtual meeting and worked in small groups whenever possible. This has happened only with the support of entire team and club members.

We IWC CHANDA FORT ANGELS had selected needy 7 girl’s .The girls being made to stand on their own feet by offering Certified Nursing Assistance Course along with JOB PLACEMENT in various hospitals in Chandrapur. The course is for four months (3 months Theory & 1 month practical) at Yuva Parivartan, Kherwadi Social Welfare Association, Mumbai. NSDC (National skill development corporation), Skill India, Chandrapur.

Project : Donation of Computer at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Primary School and Karamveer Primary School , Chandrapur
SHEROES {E- EDUCATION}
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Primary School and Karamveer primary School is located in Indira Nagar area and it has many students from the nearby slums.The school didn’t have computer set and they were in dire need of the same so that students can learn computer. The staff also has to go to Internet Café for every small work, keeping in mind their need for the computer we the members of Chanda Fort Angels have donated computer to School.
The staff and students were very happy to get the computer and we were satisfied that we were able helped them in the right place.

SHEROES {H- HEALTH}
The most common phrase of ‘Health is Wealth’ is been imbibed in our minds from our Childhood , keeping same thing in mind and working towards empowering labour class women we had arranged Multi diagnostic Health check-up camp at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Primary School only for women.The main objective of the camp was to make available good health services to the poor & needy women. We had a team of 6 Doctors from various disciplines and 6 technicians from different specialties. Minor problems were treated at local level while patients with major problems were referred to some hospitals. Various tests such as Blood Pressure levels, Haemoglobin Levels, Bone Density and Neuropathic pain were conducted. Along with the General Check-up the Dental/Oral Health Check-up was conducted by team of Dentists. Medicines were dispensed to the patients at no cost to patients. In order to attract women from slum areas to participate in the camp . The club organized an exhibition of brand new household items in an innovative way. In exhibition we have collected stuffs from our own home which are new and are not used (Bedsheet, Dohar, Sari, salwar, Kurti, Purses , kitchen wear, kids cloths ) those stuff we have sold it at cheap rates starting from 10 rs.to 70rs. We are going to donate the collected amount for a noble cause The project was huge success and all members from IWC of Chanda Fort Angels were very satisfied and happy with the response.

Project : Rain Water Harvesting -1
At Right Decision Academy on 6th August 2021
Rainwater harvesting is the collection and storage of rain, rather than allowing it to run off. Rainwater is collected from a roof-like surface and redirected to a tank,
harvesting as the runoff.
Inner Wheel Club of Chanda Fort Angels took initiative & did rain water harvesting project in Right Decision Academy. This rain water harvesting has taken place at area of 800 square feet. Rain water is collected and is redirected to a well.

Inner wheel District 303 one of the most important District of Inner wheel in Maharashtra which covers North Maharashtra and Vidarbha Region. It covers many big cities and districts of Maharashtra such as Nasik, Jalgaon, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Wardha and Chandrapur etc. This District performed well during this difficult time of Pandemic. All clubs did many charity work projects for pandemic affected people in rural areas of Maharashtra.
