Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel :
International Inner Wheel Club is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members.IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.

Innerwheel Club of Jalgaon East organized a 1 day Visit for 34 Elder Parents of Matoshri Anandashram to Gandhi Teerth which is an international center about Gandhi’s life which promotes Gandhian ideology.2 Transportation was arranged for them from their anandashram to Gandhi teerth. Elders were really excited for the trip as club members were accompanying them. Elders don’t regularly get out so it was once in lifetime experience for them. They felt mixed emotions talking to the club members and were very happy to see the museum which was altogether a new experience for them. Their heart filled with joy and eyes filled with tears as they talked to the club members about missing their kids.

Inner Wheel Club of Jalgaon East did oral health checkup of 215 workers and awareness about the ill effects of tobacco related diseases The Inner Wheel Club of Jalgaon East organized a two-day oral health check-up and non-communicable disease control program at Vega Chemicals at MIDC in which 215 workers got benefited from the program. The Inner Wheel Club of Jalgaon East organised the drive on 21st and 22nd December. Special thanks to Vega Chemicals Director Bhalchandra Patil, Dentist Dr. Anuradha Wankhede-Rout, Chief Health Officer Sampada Goswami, President of Inner Wheel Club of Jalgaon East, Neeta Parmar who were present. Created awareness about tobacco control and oral health as well as control of non-communicable diseases. Dental and oral examinations of workers were carried out. On January 11, on the occasion of International Inner Wheel Day, an Eye checkup camp was organized for the people of Area in Khanderao Nagar, in which 250 People got their Eyes examined, E specialist Dr. Rashmi Patil and his Assistants examined everyone’s Eyes. It was started by checking the eyes of Association Treasurer Meenalji, after that the eyes of the Childrens of the township to the Elderly who had spectacles numbers were removed and those who had some problem, they were called to the hospital for further treatment. It was advised how to handle especially it was advised to handle the damage caused to the Eyes due to excessive Mobile use.

Project under SHEROES- S – Stree Shakti
Inner Wheel Association Goals Sheroes where S represents the power of women – Stree Shakti. So keeping this in mind, we arranged a sewing machine for a lady who did small sewing work at home on her own so that she could get confidence and later she could get more sewing work. Only then we contacted some such women and girls who have lost both mother and father in corona or their husband. Total 10 Female like this are getting sewing training from the date 20 September, which will last for 1 month so that they can learn well and earn by standing on their feet, all of them have been joined together by the past president or members of our club by giving them dress material and sarees to make gown so that they will learn and make their own dress, blouse by sewing by their own hands. Sewing machines for training were also arranged
Project 5 :

1st December is considered as World AIDS Day Somewhere in our society people are suffering from AIDS, their life is very short, but they can live happily to win, they should also get worldly pleasures, that’s why on 1 December, Wednesday, 4 HIV couples through social organizations and villagers, the marriage ceremony of them was organized in a grand manner in Kanalada village of Jalgaon taluka. On this occasion, from our club, the members were presented with worldly useful household items like mixer hot pot tiffin box, dinner set, pots, vessels gift items Sarees Dresses n many more gifts to the newlyweds and Shalu Saree for the bride.

Inner wheel District 303 one of the most important District of Inner wheel in Maharashtra which covers North Maharashtra and Vidarbha Region. It covers many big cities and districts of Maharashtra such as Nasik, Jalgaon, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Wardha and Chandrapur etc. This District performed well during this difficult time of Pandemic. All clubs did many charity work projects for pandemic affected people in rural areas of Maharashtra.
