entrepreneurs are those adventurous, daredevils who drive deep into the pressing problems of society and try to find solutions to them, not by leaving the responsibilities in the reins of the government or business, but by trying to change systems as a whole and persuading societies to take new initiatives

In our Social Entrepreneur series today We are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Odisha for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social  field particular in inner wheel club  who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship . yes we are talking about Trupti Sahu President of Inner Wheel Club of Cuttack District 326, she shared her Service and Charity Project with Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Priyanka Yadav.

Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel :

International Inner Wheel is an international women’s  Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members. IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.

Views of Trupti Sahu about IWC :

For inner wheel I have served as an ISO and Joint secretary post before I became the President of my club . My educational background- post graduation in English. I am  an entrepreneur and born with a passion for doing good work for the society. I have an artistic bent of mind with a moderate amount of skill in singing , painting and writing. In my tenure 2021- 22 we have done 68 projects till now. Almost all of them are for the betterment of society, women empowerment in particular.

2- Under the International Inner wheel logo ‘Pink First’ our club came forward to help donating Rs31,500/ to Miss Subha Priyadarshini on 26.1.2022 to persuade her nursing course of two years .

3- On 13th December 2021 we donated Rs.100000/(one lakh only)
to Shraddha Sadhana old age home for an isolation room to be used at the time of health issues.

4- Our club helped Aman Rout ,a blood cancer patient (15 year old) with RS.55,000/ for his chemotherapy at Tata memorial hospital, Mumbai on 11th January 2022.

5- On the occasion of Republic day 26th January , we donated bedsheets worth Rs 7000/ for 35 girl students of Kasturba Gandhi trust , Satyabhamapur , Cuttack.

6- As the project under IIW , Quiz and slogan contest o cervical cancer was held for the students of Bisakha Academy . A cancer awareness camp and a rally with slogan placards was organised for the destitute women of Mamata Swadhar Gruha, on 7th and 8th January respectively.

7- In collaboration with Pratham Education foundation ,we started a year long project to give 17 young girls of Basundhara orphanage home Beautician Training on

8- Under the vortical ‘S’-Stree Shakti

We helped a young deserted mother donating a sewing machine to increase her income to support her child and old mother.
