Varsha is a housewife. Her world revolves around her family. She had a lot of creativity and didn’t do anything constantly. She used to take time out of her work to do many things like sewing and jewellery making. But she couldn’t do it for full time.
As the children got older, she began to experience identity crises. Then she decided to start a business. But what to do was the big question for her. She loved stitching, so she decided to work on it. Varsha wanted to do something unique, so she started sewing nauvari sarees which she could not find in her area.
In beginning she used to do various experiments by watching video’s on YouTube. Then she got trained and started her work. In beginning she used to take orders from people nearby, customer used to bring sarees and she sew them. Gradually her customer base began to grow. Meanwhile, her life took an unexpected turn which completely destroyed her. After spending some time in depression, she decided to create her own identity. She immersed herself in business full time. She met Smita Gupta of Bhopal, who informed her about an online exhibition organized by World Trade Center in Mumbai during Pandemic. She took part in it. She got great response and she is also associated with Zhep. From Zhep she started getting a lot of orders under the gallery. Her local business became global. Orders are received not only from Maharashtra but also from outside Maharashtra. Her brand name is ‘Sai Nauvari Creation’
Her nauvari saree were also selected for a calendar photoshoot. She was selected for final round of the recent Mississippi and Mrs Kalyan Dombivali pageant, in which she received the award for Best Costume.
She invested 70-80 thousand rupees in beginning. Now here annual turnover is around 3 lakh. She lives her work because it gives her happiness, joy of creation, profit and Satisfaction.
