Mumbai: With its sudden appearance, the pandemic as a catastrophe has spawned a crisis. Its devastating effects have everyone including decision makers confused, adrift and on edge.
Speaking over phone with Hello Mumbai News Corrodpindent Shikha Singh Saloni Tolia Mumbai Rotary Club Member says “the dangerous pandemic has not spared any soul. Everything including my start-up Petronus has come to a standstill right from day one of the announcement of the lockdown driving everyone to stay home safe.
Saloni Tolia went on to add that she has been helping out pets and animals through out her start-up and amid the Covid-19 induced lockdown during the lockdown. She wanted to continue helping anybody whosoever they may be.
She affirmed that she got in touch with her college professor Mr. Yogesh Zaveri to ascertain if she could be of any help to the Rotary Club or the Rotaract Club of which he is a part and parcel. Notably, he was more than happy to involve me in helping to get groceries for the needy. Since her apartment was sealed because of a positive case, but she contributed by managing groceries for more than 10k needy families in Mumbai. That’s the motto of Rotary Club “To Serve”.
