Women equality day is celebrated every year internationally to celebrate the amendment that granted women the right to vote .
I think It does not mean that women have power over men but it is in fact a win over herself . She is now recognised by the virtue of her capabilities, of achievements . After this amendment world got completely changed for the oppressed women of yester years . Now we live , work hand in hand with men folk . Take any field like in politics , defence, corporate world , at home ground , medical field , media every where she has excelled .
To celebrate this day my Dist took initiative in pandemic by honouring women achievers in their respective cities .
