India is at a unique stage in its journey where Women Empowerment has moved beyond a mere slogan and is now actually shaping into a reality. There are several tireless Women who are working towards it silently.
One such is Pinkky Rajgarhiya, Founder of Chingari Shakti Foundation is a national leading NGO working for education, health and women empowerment.
Speaking with Hello Mumbai News, Pinkky Rajgarhiya makes it known that she ventured to do good for the society amid the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
But this this time around her NGo is beating the Chill with Blanket and food Distribution Drive, covering over 500 families. A hungry stomach is always a soul standing in the well of pain and loss.
There are Millions rendered homeless and underprivileged individuals roaming on the streets of Mumbai with sincere prayers hoping that they will be able to survive amidst the testing time of the winter season.
In recent times, seeing people living and spending their life on the streets and footpaths though a common sight opened the eyes of the team of Pinkky Rajgarhiya’s NGo Chingari Shakti Foundation.
It is pathetic to see Impoverished people unable to manage their budget to spend money for a roof over their head and struggling to survive on flyovers of well-built metro stations in different areas of Mumbai.
The intent behind blanket and food distribution is with keeping in mind the hapless situation of the poor and the needy dwelling on streets, slum areas and to those in Orphanages, Old Age Homes, etc.
