Rotary Club of Bombay Mahakali Heights unveils Rotary Mahila Kendra to adopt women Empowerement

    Rotary Club of Bombay Mahakali Heights unveiled an unique project to adopt women Entreprenuership and Women Empowerment christened as ” Rotary Mahila Kendra ”

    The prime highlight of this event was the attendance by DG Dr.Rajendra Agrawal of Dis 3141.Adv.Flavia Egnes Founder of Majlis Ngo , Adv .Vishal Saxena ,Rotarian Indumati Rotarian Sunila Anand and many women entreprenuers of Andheri Mahakali area.

    Notably, Gurdeep Kaur Bhamra President Rotary Club of Mahakali Heights adressed the audience and briefed on the issue of Women Empowerment.
    She welcomed “Naari hi Naari ki shakti hai”
    (Women Empowerement is Nation Empowerement).

    While addressing the audience Dr.Rajendra Agrwal said, “Rotary is hailed as a biggest social organisation in the World as 1.50 indians got associated with the Rotary club.This year our Mission is “Women Empowerement”.This event is bound to generate awarness about Women Empowerment Medical Health, Sexual Abuse and Domestic violence.The current year is very special as the President of Rotary International is an Indian.

    Adressing all Women Entrepreneurs, Advocate Flavia Egnez stressed about about Domestic violence. Its a need to impove our confidence.Rotary Mahila Kendra is an Ideal Platform to resolve all problems. And benefit must be derived from this Platform and went on to explain her own story in everyone’s presence how she fell a victim to Domestic Violence.

    Society is seeing a change, hence we need to change ourselves.It is of prime importance to use Indian law because it is made for us.Our NGo Majlis has been working for Women since 1991. Majlis will extend you full support and guidance.
