Meet Surabhi Singh Mumbai based aspirant who had just one dream in her childhood and that is to emerge as a successful singer.
Speaking to Hello Mumbai News, Surabhi made it known that It wasn’t as easy as it looked to get a break as a singer as she had to encounter many difficulties. But she strongly believed to never give up come what may and look for the best and work on it.
After graduating in music Surabhi also completed a 4 years Diploma course in Music.
Notably, Surabhi has worked with many known and legendary faces from Bollywood. She has recorded a song with Legendary Music Director Late Bappi Lahiri – Chhui – Mui from Rashtraputra in 2018. She has many more upcoming songs with him, stated Surabhi.
She has performed with Late Aadesh Shrivastava in his band, then with veteran Singer Sukhinder Singh from whom she got an opportunity to learn a bit from him. As a singer Surabhi has performed in more than 1000 concerts.
Currently, she has recorded many songs for movies. She also has plans for singles. Surabhi also has her own female band namely ‘Satrs roc band’ with 6 musicians.
Her role models are late Lataji, Kishoreda, Rafi Sahab as she loves listening them. She has her own inimitable style in singing and fits in all genres but loves Sufi genre.
For Surabhi, it wasn’t money, but, needed individual recognition as a singer to reckon with from people. She wants to be known by her name and by hard sincere work.
Surabhi’s message to the upcoming artist is “Never give up, look for the best in you, give your best and create your own identity”
