UK has transpired as the first country in the world to get a clinically approved vaccine ready for supply.
In
her conversation with UK based Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Kamal Prabhakar, Reena Renger, affirms that the NHS is all set to commence vaccinating early next week. This comes as a great news. The pace in which the scientific, pharmaceutical and medical community have bound together to produce this vaccine is incredible. With the availability of the vaccine, now people will be able to lead a free and fearless life again.
However, sadly, for many, this comes as good news has come too late as Covid-19 has claimed the lives of many and are missed daily.
No sooner the vaccination programme gets rolled out, one can hope for ease of restrictions and the return of normal life. But, much has transformed over these months. For example, the way we work and shop – perhaps a new appreciation for our natural world. I feel that some of these new ways will stay with us and we may soon find ourselves once again facing a new normal life post pandemic.
