With the advent of corporate culture, people are leading sedentary lives, without caring for their health or fitness. The inactive lifestyles eventually take a toll on one’s health, and leads to a myriad of lifestyle-related diseases, and stress-related conditions.
Striders Miles, running group celebrates its 13th anniversary today by going green run to save anx protect the environment. The running group started at 6am and was flagged off by Tata Chairman N.Chandrasekharan Eldelweiss Chairman Rashesh Shah, IPS Officer Ashutosh Dumbre, CCI President Premal Udani and as sell as Striders’ Coach Deepak Londhe. The event witnessed the participation of more than 2000 runners.
Interestingly, Striders boasts of 10,000 runners.
N. Chandrasekhan, Tata Chairman, affirmed that time has come to protect our environment..it’s our bounden duty to save environment and I wish Strider for celebrating its 13 well deserved cherished anniversary.
Rashesh Shah, Chairman of Edelweiss said “I am running enthusiasts inorder to save environment which entails a big responsibility. Striders has the privilege to have trained many runners in the last one decade” I extend my good wishes to them.

Deepak Londhe, is founder of Striders and who has accomplished world cive major marathon.at this event reiterated at this event that we want every Indian to be health conscious. Health is important in our day to day life. If care not taken our health, then our respiratory system is bound to collapse. The very definition of the Motto of Striders iz to be limitless. We have trained more than one lakh runners in the last one decade.
Today’s run is to safeguard our environment. If unable to protect it, then what future we will give to our future generations.

In fact running is the core of our fitness training program. Running has several health benefits. It helps reduce breathing troubles like asthma by strengthening your cardiovascular system, builds up your stamina and reinforces muscle and bone joints. New studies reveal that running has greater benefits than walking.
