This budget is blended with fresh possibilities for more infrastructure, investment, growth, and jobs. The Budget also opens up the field of green jobs.
The Market too has welcomed the Finance Minister’s Union Budget 2022 and terms it as the most favourable Budget with much relief as against earlier Budget. The Banking sector too has hailed the Budget as people friendly.

Considering the pandemic impacting the mental health of the citizens, a national “Tele-mental health program’ has been launched which will include a network of 23 telemedicine mental health centers of excellence.
FM acknowledged start-ups for their role in the prosperity of the nation, thus continuing redemption of taxes for one more year i.e. till March 31, 2023. Strengthening the drone industry by liberalizing the Drone Rule in 2021, FM announced Drone Shakti in the Budget 2022. Here, drones will be promoted as a service through start-ups.
Like previous years, the digitization of rural areas will enable bridging the rural-urban gap.
