The Union Budget presented by Hon”ble Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman today has been welcomed unanimously and termed as a Budget for the common man.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed it as “people-friendly and progressive”.

It ushers confidence towards development amid the most terrible calamities in 100 years. the COVID-19 pandemic.

This budget is blended with fresh possibilities for more infrastructure, investment, growth, and jobs. The Budget also opens up the field of green jobs.

The Market too has welcomed the Finance Minister’s Union Budget 2022 and terms it as the most favourable Budget with much relief as against earlier Budget. The Banking sector too has hailed the Budget as people friendly.

Anish Agarwal, CEO & Co-Founder, Tablt & Flye ,Representing Pharma Sector, I view this budget presented by FM today as a progressive one that will not only boost our growth but of the entire sector. “National Digital Health System’ is a commendable step as it will consist of digital registries of health providers, thus providing a unique identity that will give universal access to health facilities. This will add value to the entire health ecosystem of India. Considering the pandemic impacting the mental health of the citizens, a national “Tele-mental health program’ has been launched which will include a network of 23 telemedicine mental health centers of excellence.
FM acknowledged start-ups for their role in the prosperity of the nation, thus continuing redemption of taxes for one more year i.e. till March 31, 2023. Strengthening the drone industry by liberalizing the Drone Rule in 2021, FM announced Drone Shakti in the Budget 2022. Here, drones will be promoted as a service through start-ups.
Like previous years, the digitization of rural areas will enable bridging the rural-urban gap.
Other noteworthy initiatives are skilling, upskilling & reskilling of our youth, Digital DESH e-portal, and E-Passport.
