Major relief to Mlaad builder and business man Jameel Merchant, Today Dindoshi Session court granted Anticipatory Bail Application in Ramnavmi Malvani communal clashes incident.
On this Development Advocate Milind Desai who was representing Jameel Merchant expressed his view ” we are thankful and accept the court order from the Day one we are convencing to the court Mr Mr Jameel Merchant helped and supported to Mumbai police to control this Communal clasehes we have presented all videos of the Incident which proved Mr Jameel Merchant helped to police,Honerable court considered our all evidence and we got this order on our Merit based “.

Brief  fact about the Incident :

Communal Violence break out between two Community people over a Raam Navami rally at Malvani Gate no 5 near Mosque.In this case On March 31, the Malwani police arrested 20 people and registered an fir against 400 others for allegedly rioting, assault and unlawful assembly during the Ram Navami procession. The FIR has been registered against 20 men, including Jamil Merchant,under Section353, 332, 324, 143, 145, 147, 149, 120 (B), 151, 153(A), 333, 152 etc.and400 unidentified people for pelting stones and throwing slippers on the devotees attending the procession.

On the other hand Jamil Merchant claimed that police officers had asked his help to calm down the miscreants as he stayed in the locality. he was being framed  in the case “
