Mumbai: As an heart wrenching tribute to the departed soul of Former Minister Professor Javed Khan, a condolence meet was held on Monday at Rangsharda in Bandra.

Nevertheless it wasn”t was a political function, but, a more big and important function.

The foremost highlight of this condolence meet was attended by many Senior Congress Leaders across India.
Javed khan who died on 31 st October due to covid in Mumbai.

At this condolence meet whoever attended expressed their views and experience about Javed Khan.

Balasaheb Thorat, Revenue Minister, Government of Maharashtra and MPCC President said , ” Javed Khan Saab was a born congress leader and he dedicated his life for the Congress Party. We cant forget all the work that he has done for the party.

Nitin Raut, Maharashtra Energy Minister  was also present at this condolence meet and expressed his views saying that “it’s a great loss for the party as well as Maharashtra Politics. He was very positive and helpful by nature ”

Former CM of Maharashtra Sushil Kumar Shinde said, “Javed Khan though he came to Mumbai from Uttar Pradesh, became a leader of Maharashtra. During his political career, he focussed on Education , and has been an Education Minister in 1979 and performed well.

Aslam Shaikh , Maharashtra Minister, said “he was like my father and I have learnt a lot from him. His death is a great loss for the party.

Zaheer Kaazi , Educationist, said “Javed Khan Saab was himself an Institution in education and he dedicated his life only for education. He built an Education Institution in Uttar Pradesh as well as in Mumbai.

Mr Mudassar Patel, Vice-President For Minority , Mumbai Congress party, turned emotional about Javed Khan and said, “he was like my father and I have learnt a lot from him. I felt impressed on him merely for his immense interest in Efucation. During his political career, he not only focussed on education, but he built Educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh and as well in Mumbai. It’s a proof, that he shared good relationship with all leaders in Maharashtra as well in Delhi. He is highly respected by everyone.

It’s for sure, after Javed Saab his son Nadeem Javed who is presently the National President of Congress Party party, Minority, will complete the incomplete work of Javed Khan Saab.

Warsha Gaikwad, Education Minister ,Maharashtra, said “Javed Saab, Even as he is not in our midst, but he has left message for us even during covid time for which he worked for the people and helped the people without fear of his life. He lost his life because of covid we salute their sacrification for the party.

Baba Siddiqui, i learnt a lot from him in my political career when i was in youth congress he supported me to a great extent.

Zeeshan Siddiqui, Congress MLA, asserted that :Javed was like my grand father. It’s a very big thing for the party as well Mumbai.

Ameet Deshmukh, Said “I cant imagine Javed Khan Saab is not in our midst. My hearyfelt deep sympathies from Deshmukh Parivaar to his family .

Ibrahim Bhaijan senior congress leader, said”we worked together and even when he joined NCP, he has always supported me and was very much interested to improve the education system in mimority.

Nadeem Javed Khan asserted expressed his views ,This condelence Meet proved how my father enjoyed and relished good releationdhip with others. Every .i am thankful to all who attended this condelence meet and supported me and my family.

Brief introduction of Professor Javed Khan :
Professor Javed Khan, was a senior Congress Leader, he has been two time Minister in Maharashtra Assembly , he has been Education and Housing Minister, and CIDCO Chairman .He had contested two time Assembly Election from Eastern Mumbai Trombay Vidhaan Sabha.He has built education institution in Jaunpur dist ,Uttar Pradesh and in Oshiwara Mumbai Professor Javed khan was father of Nadeem Javed Khan, National President Congress party for Minority Community.

This Condolence meeting was attended by Haji Babu khan, Ashok Bhau Jadhav, Sanjay Dina patil, Rahul shiwale, Ashok Chavann, Ashish Dua, Abu Asim Azmi, Husain Dalwai and many others.
