Mumbai: After subsequent lockdowns prices of Essential Commodities has surged high and are being sold for a premium. This sudden black-marketing on essential commodities is suspected by mafias and hoarders who have taken advantage of the helpless situation of the citizens.
Ever since the 14-day lockdown was imposed by Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray and later 21-day National Lockdown by PM Modi, hoarders and the mafias have swung into action and have doubled the price of essential commodities. This is making it extremely difficult for the common man to make his ends meet at such prevailing situation.
Hello Mumbai News has been flooded with calls from people of Santacruz Khar and Bandra besides other suburbs of such hoarding in essential commodities.
The State Government must immediately swing into action and stop the hoarding on essential commodities and book the culprits behind the dubious game.
