Bollywood Actor and Producer Arbaaz khan on Saturday recorded his statement before That Anti Extortion Cell in Bookie Sonu Jalan connection and IPL betting ,he calso onfessed betting in IPL matches in 2017 . According to the police sources he lost 2.80 Cr and didn’t returned the money to Bookie Sonu Jalan during the investigation had established a “connection” between Jalan and Arbaaz, said Senior Inspector Pradeep Sharma, head of the AEC.
Arbaaz had allegedly lost Rs 2.80 crore in betting to Jalan and was not paying the amount, following which the bookie had threatened the actor, the official said citing the interrogation of the arrested accused.
Jalan allegedly ran his betting racket from Dombivli in Thane district of Maharashtra. Jalan has been arrested in connection with the case under sections 420,465,468,47134 of the IPC, section 4(A),5 of the Gambling Act and also IT Act 66A registered in the Dombilivi police station.Accroding to the police sources more Bollywood personality involve in the IPL Betting racket more names will be come out said Police Inspector of Thane Anti Extortion cell.
