Kayyum Tamboli , a senior leader and Minority president of North Central district of the Congress party a mass appeal leader in the Western Suburb has lodged complaint at Mumbai Crime Branch, against three unknown accused who has threatened him near Nehru Road santacruz East on 9th February.
” On Thursday I was standing with my party workers nearby at Nehru Road .suddenly three youngsters came and threatened me.They warned me for not doing election campaigning in Kherwadi Taluka .They said that,”our bhai (Abu Salem) will decide who will do campaigning in this area. He is the boss . ( Samjha na chup chap reh warna goli padegi) and eloped away from the spot. I saw their face and can identify them. so I rushed to the Vakola police station and lodged the complaint,” said Kayyum Tamboli. Now Mumbai Crime Branch also took this matter seriously.They has recorded Kayyum Tamboli’s statement. Crime branch have setup a special team to investigate the case .Police is also doing investigation in search of active member of Abu Salem Gang in the western Suburb.
According to the police sources very soon these gang members will be arrested.
