Speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ , ” This market is one of the oldest Market in south Mumbai, it was burnt during 1992 riots since that day it was in a very bad condition ,now Bmc is very much serious about the development of the Market, we have sanctioned Rs 14 Cr fund and the work of renovation will be completed within Two years ,there are 181 shops of fruits sellers, vegetable vendors and others everyone will get their shops in a new look ,it was very difficult task BJP leaders disturbed us  but we did not care of this  ,said Haji Halim Khan.
This heritage Market will be in a new look after 25 years every one is excited about this Market new look.
