Mumbai: Saudi Arabia has clamped down a temporary ban on Umrah pilgrims in an attempt to ensure public safety by preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

There is also a halt to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina often visited by Pilgrims before or after completing their religious duties in Makkah.
