Mumbai: Swiss Tourism CEO cautions travellers to Switzerland in the wake of Coronavirus Crisis
Mumbai: In view of the Coronavirus Crisis in China creating Global impact, the Switzerland Tourism, the National Tourism Board of Switzerland has established a task force with the aim to monitor the possible impact of the Coronavirus Crisis on the incoming travel business from China as well as other parts of Asia and to act as a mediator between the Swiss Tourism Industry, Swiss authorities in charge as well as of the travel trade in all our global source markets including India. This is with the aim to reduce the burden of Swiss tourism partners and guests across Asia.
Swiss Federal Office and it’s health department is continuously monitoring the situation in Switzerland and has declared that no single Coronavirus infection has been detected.
This is notwithstanding the fact that Switzerland’s borders have always remained open to any visitor from all over the World. Switzerland could be visited normally without any increased risk. Switzerland remain as good hosts in times of any untoward crisis.
