The Enforcement Agency Team in association with S.S Branch on 29 January, 2023, on received information that the above arrested accused wanted was running an illegal Orchestra Bar (Dance Clip) in Borivli East. raided Asha Orchestra Bar(Dance Clip) (Chaitanya) and Restaurant, Dhanraj Chawl,Main Kasturba Road, Borivli East Mumbai.
On relying and after confirmation a raid was conducted at Asha Orchestra Bar(Dance Clip) (Chaitanya) and Restaurant, Dhanraj Chawl,Main Kasturba Road, Borivli East at 23.10 hours by Woman Police Inspector Kadam, Assistant Police Inspector Kanawade and Team under the Guidance of
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Enforcement, SS, CB, Mumbai. 32 accused were arrested and 17 Girls were rescued.
An offence under CR No. 81/23, u/s 188, 34 IPC r/w 3, 8(1),(2), (4) Prohibition of Obscene Dancing in Hotels, Restaurants and Bar rooms and Protection of the dignity of the Women (working in them) act 2016
were registered on all the accused at the Kasturba Marg Police Station Borivli.
The Police seized Rs.1,26,300/- cash,1-laptop (Rs-25,000),1 Speaker (Rs-4000),1 Amplifier (Rs-20,000),1 Memory Card.
Total Seizure amounted
to Rs.1,75,300*
Further investigation is handed over to the concerned Police Station.
Earlier the Enforcement Agency in association with Mumbai Police (Crime) had carried series of raids at Suraj Orchestra Bar (Dance Clip) and Restaurant Dahisar, Sunrise Unisex Salon and Spa,Fort, Devi Kripa Bar (Orchestra Bar) Chembur, Sharmili Restaurant and Orchestra Bar Rkc (Dance Clip) in Dahisar, Sagar Restaurant & Orchestra Bar (Dance) Wadala, Samudra Restaurant and Bar, Orchestra Bar (Dance Clip) in Malad East, Shivleela (Orchestra) Bar and Restaurant Andheri (w)Jayprit (Orchestra) Bar and Restaurent”, Tiger Hookah Parlour in Chembur, EPITOME Global Dining and Hooka Parlour in, Lower Parel, White House (Orchestra) Bar and Restaurant im Worli, Ghungroo (Orchestra) Bar and Restaurant in Ghatkopar.
Despite the raids in the above mentioned Orchestra Bars, Spas and Hooka Parlours, and accused arrested yet the shady business continues.
