One day Seminar at Maulana Azad College organized On “Unity is the key of Success”

Aurangabad, 30 September (Reporter):-

A one-day national Seminar was organized in the city by the Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science and Commerce in collaboration with the Culture House of Islamic Republic of Iran, Mumbai.
The program was organized Saturday, September 30, at 4 pm in the Seminar Hall of Maulana Azad College, Dr. Rafiq Zakaria campus Aurangabad. Iran’s Consul General (Mumbai) His Excellency Mr. Abolfazal Mohammad Alikhani was present as the chief guest of this event. The program was held in presence of the organizing secretary & Director of Iran Culture House, Mohammad Reza Fazel Koohani and Principal & convener Dr. Mazahar Ahmad Farooqui.

The seminar was free for all and organized with the aim to strengthen the relationship between India and Iran and to remove misunderstandings between Shia and Sunni sects, creating atmosphere of harmony and brotherhood in the Ummah. The speakers from various Muslim communities including Maulana Shabab Naqvi, Engineer Abdul wajid Quadri were invited by the organizers. The seminar started with the recitation from the Holy Verses of Quran. The Students of the college recited Naat which was appreciated by the audience.

After Felicitation programme the director of Iran Culture House, explained the aims and objectives of the seminar. After that, Maulana Shabab Naqvi delivered his speech focusing on the unity of Muslim community. Engineer Abdul Wajid Quadri explained the responsibility of Muslim Ummah and focused on the unity. There was screening of a video message from Maulvi Ishaq Madni from Tehran.
The College celebrated “Unity Week” and organized various programmes related to the Milad –e- Nabi pbuh.

The student toppers in the competition were awarded prizes and gifts from the dice. The first winner of the competition also got the chance to perform in the seminar. His Excellency Mr. Alikhani addressed the gathering and praised the efforts taken by the organizers and appreciated the message conveyed in the students. Dr. Mazahar Ahmad Farooqui in his presidential addressed thanked the Consul General for his kind words. His speech was in Persian, English and Urdu language which focuses on unity of culture, languages and cults. Dr. Atheruddin Quadri proposed vote of thanks.
