It comes as shocking news that a 40-year-old struggling actress committed suicide in a hotel in Lokhandwala on late Wednesday night.

Mumbai Police suspects that the actress took the drastic step our of the depression in not getting work in the film industry from past few months.

The Versova police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the matter and is further investigating the matter.

As per an officer, she was a resident of Yamuna Nagar Society in Lokhandwala.

Meanwhile Versova police have found a suicide note from the hotel room in which the actress wrote that nobody is responsible for her death. The police sent her body for postmortem and is awaiting for the report.

The official added, the actress had booked a room in the hotel. She checked-in on Wednesday at night around 8 pm. Primary investigations revealed that she also called for food and had ate dinner at the hotel room. However, in morning when the hotel staff rang the bell, she did not open the door. The staff became suspicious and they later informed the police which opened the door using a masterkey and found her hanging from the ceiling fan.

Police rushed her to the hospital where she was declared dead before admission.
