Most of the colors that are available in the market today contain hazardous chemicals like mercury, asbestos, silica, mica, and lead. They are industrial dyes, and alkalis, which are incredibly toxic to the human skin, and especially the eyes.

Holi is the festival of colours but it has to be celebrated in various other ways too. Instead of Only smearing colour on our friends, we can use this opportunity to spread colours in lives of people who are less fortunate and who need the light in their lives.
