Women lawyer gets molested at crowded Dadar Station on Sunday night- accused remanded to judicial custody till Dec 14

Crime against women has by and large become an order of the day. With modesty of women being damaged quite often and when Mumbai is considered a safe haven for women it is proving otherwise. The recent incident of a lawyer by an young medical student who touched her inappropriately and was trying to make good his escape at the crowded Dadar Station on Sunday comes as a rude shock. What is baffling is that people at the station chose to remain as silenr spectators with none trying to help the woman who braved and fought the incident alone. Reports has it that she held the accused by his collar for as long as 20 minutes between Dadar and Andheri where she finally handed him over to the police. He has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody till December 14 after producing him at the holiday court.

If such ugly incident against women continues unabated it is feared women may have to think before stirring from house in fear of being molested.
