Bmc Standing Committee sanctioned rupees 3crore for the development and beautification of P.T Mane Garden. local Municipal Councillor Raees shaikh approved this funds from his own efforts and it was inaugrated by him on Saturday. P.T Mane Udyan is south Mumbai ‘s first multiple theme garden , speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ ” this garden will be very symbolic, and we will provide the facilities such as
Varieties of trees, longest jogging park track across an area of 1.5 Acres, study centre , selfie point, and this garden will be botanic garden for the students, Raees shaikh also appreciated the dedicated work of Aziz Makki and Shabaz Siddiqui , because of their good efforts this garden is got new and different identity among people ant it is well maintained by Educational Welfare Foundation. ”
Meanwhile Shabaz A .Siddiqui vice president of Educational and welfare foundation claimed , it is one of the best developed garden in the city we are using open space of the garden in multiple ways such as we are running dialysis centre at very low cost, health check up ,study centre ,physiotheraphy facilities. computer courses, etc, we also provide free gymnasium to the youngsters, the people belongs to adjoining area like Madanpura, Nagpada, Mumbai central and other parts of south Mumbai come to the garden and enjoy all facilities , ”

On this occasion, We are thankful to Raees shaikh who approved 3 crore for the beautification of the garden , since when we started social and educational activities in P.T Mane Garden , gradually people joining us , Khidamat Trust also associated with us, this garden is especially popular among the poor and needy people of south Mumbai because of its medical help and low cost medicine secondly educational facilities like study centre and computer courses, now people have realised our work and supporting us ,”
This grand opening ceremony was attended by city’s well known personilities such as Maulana Hafiz mohd Ather, Ashfaq Ahmed from Khidamat Trust , Mohd Ali Bhai, Noor mohd Munna Mr.Fareed and others.
