For years, males dominated the business industry, leaving less or no room for females. But the trend has changed now. More and more women are jumping into the business and many have successfully established globally renowned brands. Creating job opportunities for a large number of people, the women have braved the societal pressures and stereotypes to come up with the solutions that are far more reliable and innovative.
recent years, Maharashtra has witnessed an increase in women-owned businesses in fields such as household Industry, fashion, farming, IT, manufacturing, oil, and more. The development has broken the gender stereotype where women are depicted as weaker and incapable.
These bold and fearlessly ambitious entrepreneurs are shaping the future of Maharashtra, serving as mentors to millions of women and youths.
The Vision Expo 2022, jointly organized by Gayatri Mahila Industrial Cooperative Society and MSME (DI) Nagpur, was held from March 25 to 28 March at South Central Cultural Center in Nagpur. More than 129 Women Entrepreneurs across Maharashtra had participated in this Women Entrepreneurial Exhibition. Every year this Exhibition is being organised under the guidance of Gayatri Sanstha, President Kanchan Tai Gadkari and MSME Director Prashant Parlewar.
The main highlight of this Exhibition it was inaugurated by the hands of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and attended by BJP MP Hemamalini, Vimalaji and others.
On this occasion, the President of Gayatri Sanstha, Kanchan Gadkari, Secretary Vijaya Bhusari, Chairperson of the program Jyoti Bavankule, Chief Guest Anagha Bhatwadekar. Prashant Parlewar, Divisional Director, MSME, Parineeta Ji, Assistant Director were also present on the occasion. The program started with lighting of lamps.
