In the midst of the surge in this pandemic crisis, Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Janvi S. Panjwani converses with Jyoti Parag Alavani, BJP Corporator, Ward No. 85(Vile-Parle East), for the update of the existing situation of the pandemic in her ward.

Speaking to Janvi S.Panjwani, Correspondent, Hello Mumbai News over a phone Mrs. Jyoti Parag Alavani, BJP Corporator, Ward No.85(Vile-Parle East) while elaborating on the current situation in her Ward, mentioned that, “In last 2 day’s there has been less number of corona patients and we are trying our best to make beds available. In our Ward, there are 1-2 doctors who are very co-operative and if someone is in emergency they call us and me with my team are try our best to help them out”.

She further added, “It’s a good recovery rate but unfortunately there are positive reports among the young generation. However, their recovery rate is very good”.

When quizzed on her demands from the State Government, she said ” I have already given a letter to the State Government demanding for vaccination centers in Nehru Building at my Ward and also vaccination Centres in BMC schools. When she had a talk with a Ward Officer, they gave her to understand that they are ready to open a BMC clinic in which they can give vaccines”.

Mrs.Jyoti also made it known that, “BMC is very irresponsible, and are not at all taking care. On the other side they are telling that they will start a new place for vaccination and if someone goes to take vaccine ,then the vaccines are not available”.

Apart from this she said, ” In comparision to last year’s Covid and this year’s Covid, today we can see risk among the young generation as their report are coming positive. In the year 2020 young generation were not facing problems but this second wave seem to be more dangerous and but obviously, many people are gripped in fear too.”.

Mrs. Jyoti also mentioned that they conduct Blood Donation Drive and we take people to the vaccination centers” said,  Mrs.Jyoti.

On the overall decision by the Government on the Lockdown, she conveyed that, ” The economic status is very dangerous at this timem . When the state government lifted the lockdown at that time there were insufficient facilities available. The Medical facilities need to be increased much more, and awareness and sanitization news should be conveyed end to the people”.
